Keeping hydrated is an important part of staying healthy. Water promotes cardiovascular health, keeps your body cool, helps muscles and joints work better and keeps skin supple. Here is this week’s hydration recipe:
1 cup cherries, sliced in half
1 small lime, sliced
Add cherries and lime to a pitcher of water. Chill for 4-6 hours to infuse the flavors.
Music For Relaxation
During massage sessions I often play soft, soothing music in the background as a way to create a relaxing atmosphere and allow clients’ minds to drift as they enjoy their session. I find this music helps enhance the mood and creates a peaceful atmosphere.
This week I thought I would give you a list of some of my favorite artists and songs so that you can recreate the soothing environment in your own home. This music is great to listen to while taking a bath, meditating, or while you are taking some down time. It’s also a wonderful go-to resource for helping ease nerves in moments of stress or anxiety. Feeling overwhelmed? Pop in your headphones or turn up your speakers and let the music roll through you.
Here are some of my favorites:
- Steven Halpern Chakra Suite
- Steven Halpern Crystal Bowl Healing
- Dan Gibson Solitudes H2O
- Beethoven Moonlight Sonata with Relaxing Nature Sounds
- Dean Evenson Sound Healing
