Take two minutes and complete the sentence “when I think about nourishing & nurturing myself, I think of…….” (walking in the woods, drinking a cup of cocoa on a cold day, swimming naked in the ocean, cuddling with a loved one). You can keep that sentence on your desk and add to it in spare moments. It’s like a mini-holiday. Nurturing is the chronic stress antidote.
